Lithium thionyl chloride batteries are high-performance energy-based batteries with a variety of notable features and applications. Its 3.6V voltage rating and highest specific capacity make it suitable for a variety of uses, including real-time clocks, device and instrument power supplies, and CMOS memory backup. With a nominal operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, the battery’s excellent low and high temperature characteristics, low self-discharge rate and 10-year shelf life make it a reliable and long-lasting power source.
However, it should be noted that there are some specific precautions when using this battery. It is prohibited to cause short circuit, charge, over-discharge, burn, squeeze, use beyond the specified temperature range, assemble or disassemble the battery.
